My client is currently seeking an Accommodation Officer who will be based in the Asylum Team within the business. They have 3 Accommodation Officers in the Teams, whose responsibility is to find accommodation for unaccompanied asylum seeking minors in the private rented sector. The role involves tracing/ tracking/ and contacting a network of agencies and the links could be in the private sector, charitable organizations, housing associations, or local authorities. The job may mean a lot of leg work and making personal contact, as well as searching the net and making phone contact.The Ideal candidate would have some experience in the Housing Sector with a knowledge of both the private, public and voluntary sector.This is Approximately a 3 month contract.
