The key to unlocking the potential in this continent is to create the infrastructure for growth : the basic supply of water, sanitation, road access and power to create self contained precincts. Although they have already delivered similar projects in other parts of the continent, the 1,000 Hectare land development project outside of Nairobi which breaks ground in April will constitute one of the biggest direct foreign investments into Africa. With much of the leg work done, the land wholly owned, the masterplan in place and the authorities in support, we are looking to identify a technical individual capable of delivering on this landscape changing project. You will be a diplomatic leader, used to working in culturally diverse environments, who is able to bring together the efforts of a wide range of permanent and consulting professionals. With a successful track record in completing similar works, you will be a mature businessperson with a thorough understanding of civil works and their unique challenges. This will suit someone with a stable track record ready to make another long term commitment, as the first phase alone will span nearly 5 years. Opportunity is available to those with a university degree in engineering or construction, coupled with a minimum of 10 years business management experience.
