Hotels Development manager sought by busy West African property developers. Our world class client creates projects that are aesthetically, socially and functionally relevant. They are affiliated to an international real estate name, which boasts several decades of experience and proven delivery capabilities. Over the past few years that have made a significant impact on the West African property market, and are currently finalising the master plan for a 75,000sm GLA mixed use scheme in Accra. As a large portion of this landmark project will boast a high end hotel, they are looking to hire a full time hotel developer. You would be responsible for the creation, design and implementation of this projects. Leveraging your 10 years plus experience, you will be responsible for the successful completion of projects - from development concept through contractor appointment, construction phase management, investor relationships and reporting, risk management, leasing and all associated documentation / administration in conjunction with the Construction Manager and Leasing Manager. In other words, you will be wholly responsible for projects handed to you. Excellent English and presentation skills are essential, as you will be expected to represent the organisation at board level with various stakeholders, without support. This role presents the opportunity to earmark your career for progression within a growing organisation. Experience in established global markets is essential, preferably in Africa or West Africa also. Salary commensurate with experience, but up to US$200K per annum as a cost to company. Additional profit participation also applies. Only individuals with experience in delivering full life cycle hotel project can be considered. Property related university degree essential.
