Lagos based start up opportunity available for experienced Director. Our client is a high profile conglomerate, with interests in textiles, banking, chemicals and real estate. Their property fund holds nearly 2 million square meters in various commercial and residential assets. Whilst these assets have primarily been acquired in the past, they have established a property development team who already have a considerable pipeline of projects in Lagos. One of these is a landmark commercial high rise set to break ground in November of 2010. Another is a high value hotel & residential project in planning stages. They are looking to take on board a creative individual who can not only formulate the marketing concept of these projects, and oversee their ongoing brand development, but also go on to drive and manage the sales to investors, corporates and funds. This post would suit an person who has a proven track record in real estate, and who is comfortable with selling off plan. You will be a well networked individual and, although based in Lagos, will be happy to travel to road shows and conventions as necessary. This is a start up role, which will require a decision maker who is confident in hiring a successful sales team, and who has experience in working in foreign locations. Basic package in excess of US$140,000 per annum, excludes the highly attractive commission structure. We are experiencing an unprecedented volume of interest for African posts and on occasions are unable to respond individually to every application.
