Building Surveyor, Stock Condition Surveyor
Reporting to the Estates Director you will take a leading role in the provision of in-house Building Surveying work within the Estates Team in connection with planned and reactive maintenance and capital works. To undertake condition and measured surveys, define and specify necessary works and prepare specifications and tender documents for contracts on behalf of internal clients. To manage and supervise contracts including on-site management and contract administration and cost control. To assist in the specifying, procurement and management of Facilities contracts. To assist in the management of contracts, including the raising and payment of invoices and monitoring of performance and budgets and the achievement of performance improvement. You will be an experienced Building Surveyor with highly developed interpersonal skills including influencing, advisory, advocacy, negotiating and persuasive skills. This a temporary position and the client expects the project to last between 9 and 12 months. You must be available to start at short notice. We are experiencing an unprecedented volume of interest in posts and on occasions are unable to respond individually to every application.
