South Africa is widely regarded as the commercial gateway to Africa, and this has certainly been proven to be true in the case of our South African base, which has expanded our global reach to include West and East Africa, as well as various SADC countries. This presence ensures not only that our international candidate base is exposed to a wider pool of potential employers but also that we are able to offer our clients a diverse range of candidates. Our history and shared global database also means that we have access to ex-pats from a number of African countries looking to return to their birth country.
Due to stringent exchange controls in South Africa, as well as factors such as the lack of sub-prime lending in the continent, Africa has remained relatively unscathed during international recession. Combining this with a continent rich in natural resources in undeveloped locations, means that Africa is alive with potential for the right international or local investor who is able to recognize the possibilities which are inherently linked to the risk profile.
With our global reach growing every day, we are able to introduce candidates to some of the most exciting projects on the continent, including large scale infrastructure development & international investment management in a growing economy.
