Macdonald & Company are proudly partnered with a reputable Real Estate Developer and Investor headquartered in Denver, CO with a track-record in ground-up Multifamily and Single-Family Residential projects.The firm are looking to appoint a Senior Accountant who will work across their Real Estate Development company, as well as their Construction firm that is a builder on behalf of multiple best-in-class development groups nationally.

The Role
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for touching all parts of the financial statement, working in a full-cycle accounting capacity within a collaborative team of individuals.
They will be responsible for:
- Overseeing corporate accounting functions, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements. will ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, manage budgeting and forecasting processes, and contribute to financial decision-making that supports our company’s strategic goals.
- All finance and accounting aspects of their assigned projects, working directly with directors, equity partners, and lenders.
- Ensure all transactions are accounted for properly and in accordance with the operating agreement any applicable agreements including operating agreements and loan agreements (acquisitions, dispositions, loan extensions and closings, etc).
- Update budgets monthly through the different stages of completion (under construction, lease-up, stabilized operations, etc.). Actively participate in all real estate and financing closings, and associated processes, serving critical accounting and organizational functions internally and with investors and lenders.
