Job Summary
Our client, a leading Data Centre Developer in Hong Kong, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team. As a Data Centre Developer, they specialize in the design, construction, and operation of state-of-the-art data centres. With a strong presence in the industry, they are committed to delivering high-quality projects that meet the evolving needs of their clients.The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of data centre projects from inception to completion.
Other responsibilities include:
- Project Planning and Execution:Develop and implement project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Resource Management:Allocate and manage project resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments as necessary to optimize project performance.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation:Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Regularly assess project risks and implement appropriate measures to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
- Stakeholder Communication:Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities. Provide timely updates on project progress, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Quality Control:Implement quality control processes to ensure that project deliverables meet the highest standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues.
- Budget Management:Monitor project finances, including budget allocation, expenditure tracking, and cost control. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
- Team Leadership:Provide strong leadership to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Delegate tasks, provide guidance and support, and promote professional development opportunities for team members.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and requirements:
- Education:A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), are highly desirable.
- Experience:A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data centre development or construction projects. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of data centre design, construction, and operation principles. Familiarity with industry best practices, codes, and regulations.
- Leadership Skills:Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
