The Opportunity:
Seeking a Director of Capital Raising for the Los Angeles office. This pivotal role involves driving sales and cultivating relationships with private wealth advisory firms and family offices to attract assets into existing investment funds. Reporting to the CFO and working closely with Managing Directors, this position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of financial markets and a proven track record in investor relations and business development within the finance industry.
Responsibilites:
- Generate growth in capital investment from financial planners and high-net-worth individuals into diversified investment portfolios.
- Forge fresh connections with wealth management professionals utilizing diverse communication channels such as digital correspondence, phone interactions, and both virtual and face-to-face engagements.
- Comprehend and communicate the distinct features of the investment offerings, distinguishing them within the market landscape, while offering tailored guidance aligned with each investor's goals.
- Ensure the accuracy of investor data by promptly recording pertinent activities and feedback in the CRM platform, accompanied by comprehensive notes.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to streamline processes related to investment closures, reporting procedures, spontaneous inquiries, and investor engagements.
- Leverage insights into financial markets, client investment strategies, and individual preferences to pinpoint potential product enhancements and growth prospects.
- Degree from a four-year college or university required; MBA / advanced degree, related credentials (like CFA) strongly preferred.
- Successful track record of relationship building and capital raising from RIAs and/or UHNW and family offices.
- Strong product and vehicle structure knowledge within fixed income and the ability to effectively differentiate the value proposition and its role in portfolio construction.
- Excellent business acumen, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to identify client needs while positioning Arixa as an appropriate solution.
- Exceptional ability to compile and analyze data to guide desired outcomes.
- Strong judgement, interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- Continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to think critically about systems and processes to improve them through hard work and creative thinking.
- This LA-based position requires in-office work four (4) or more days per week to ensure close alignment among all executive team members.
- The position requires travel to client sites for meetings and presentations.
