Our client is a UK based private family office focused on real estate investment. The group are in expansion mode and are looking to grow AUM in the UK and Europe and so are looking to hire an Investment and Asset Management Analyst in London

- Analyse and underwrite potential real estate investment opportunities
- Financial modelling and projection of cash flows, both on existing assets and new acquisitions
- Conduct research on selected property sectors and geographies, driving detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Prepare business plans and investment memorandums for new acquisitions, and present to management
- Participate in due diligence meetings with management and external advisors.
- Monitor portfolio performance, assisting in operational and strategic reviews
- Responsible for analysing the existing real estate portfolio.
- Highlight recommended investments, divestments, asset management initiatives, capex and diversification opportunities
- Broad role will be split between acquisitions and asset management
- Will also obtain corporate level exposure as well
- Draft quarterly reports to company’s Board, Lenders and JV partners
Background & experience:
- Strong numerical undergraduate degree from a top-tier university and ideally a Master’s in Real Estate/Finance
- 1-3 years’ relevant experience as an Analyst
- Must have real estate experience
- Flexible on background; prefer principal real estate experience from an investor, fund, asset manager or advisor
- Strong technical skills - support underwriting of new deals, write IC papers/memos, assist making presentations etc
- Languages: Fluent English; any additional language is an advantage
- Strong financial modelling – manipulation of existing templates as well as ad hoc analysis
