The Role
An independent Planning Consultancy is looking to add an Associate Planner to their team as they remain busy and optimistic for the year ahead. You will be inheriting a solid pipeline of work with a set of loyal clients who continue to instruct on new projects.

You will be managing and submitting complex planning applications across numerous sectors including residential, retail and commercial, and will be the sole point of contact for those clients. As an Associate Planner, you will have the support of junior colleagues and be expected to manage and mentor these Planners as part of your role.  

About You
You will be an ambitious Senior/Principal Planner, ideally from a private sector background, have a desire to produce and deliver quality results and be eager to progress your career further. 

You will have over 5 years’ experience and be comfortable with handling numerous applications across different sectors. You will also be encouraged to continue raising your profile in the local market, attending networking events and following up on new business opportunities (post-pandemic of course).

The Client
The company is a medium-sized, independent consultancy with years of proven success in dealing with a range of complex applications across the UK. They will continue their growth over the course of the year and are in a strong position having being largely unaffected by the covid-19 pandemic. The role is currently working and there will continue to be an element of working from home flexibility as the lockdown ends.
