Our client is a Hong Kong - based property developer, focusing on overseas property development and sales. They are currently looking for a Finance Controller based in Hong Kong.

- To assist the supervisor in leading the Finance team to perform the day-to-day general accounting, Finance and treasury functions
- To monitor and manage the daily cash positions at both corporate and investment levels.
- To prepare short to medium term cashflow and liquidity forecasting and conduct analysis for liquidity management purpose (e.g. funding cost, cash flow gap analysis, free cash use for liquidity investment etc.)
- To lead the system integration process for timely and accurate information flow across company departments.
- To provide support on deal structuring, bank account opening and ongoing matters with banks, tax forecasts and compliance
- To manage all aspects of corporate secretarial related tasks
- To keep abreast of new regulatory requirements related to risk management processes
- To perform ad hoc assignments when needed
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking or related discipline
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Treasury function in real estate/financial services or banking industry; managerial experience is essential
- Strong process, treasury, controls, operational as well as cash flow management experience
- Solid understanding of the regulatory and tax environment from a treasury perspective
- Solid project management / planning experience and ability to think strategically
- Able to manage junior staff and interact with senior management
- Strong analytical and communication skills, and attention to details
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Good presentation and report writing skills
- Proficient with MS Office applications including Excel and Word, and Chinese Word Processing
- Immediate available is highly preferred
