Privately, their portfolio currently sits at just over 30,000sqm of retail property, but this will soon be increased significantly with the launch of their revamp and new development projects. To join their Johannesburg-North team, they require a Leasing Consultant to look after a Retail centre. The main priority of this role is for you to keep the vacancies to an absolute minimum by looking for suitable tenants. This will have you running through your network of National and Line Retailers, to source the perfect and ideal tenant mix to assist the centres in increasing foot count. Over and above filling the vacant spaces, you will also have to secure renewals, process lease agreements and complete the administration of leases across the portfolio. This opportunity is for an individual who is tired of being a number in a big corporate, and who understands that at a smaller company, you have to take on more responsibilities, but it also allows for more growth in your career. This attitude combined with 3 years’ leasing experience and the ability to source new tenants will put you at the top of our shortlist. It is also crucial that you have previously worked on MDA and have a track record of setting up a successful tenant mix in an existing or off-plan development.
