Our client owns a considerable retail portfolio throughout South Africa. Although many of these are over 20,000sm, they are all in outlying areas -you won't find one of their properties in the Sandton CBD! Thriving hubs of their community, they are malls which drive real value by saving people a considerable journey for both essential and more luxury items. They are also extremely busy and challenging to manage! Via a team of 7 centre managers, you will be tasked with ensuring that the malls maintain their dominance in their region, as well as their profitability for shareholders. A demanding Asset Management team will expect you to have your finger on the financial, operational and leasing pulse of these properties, and you will be expected to implement fund wide strategies in a retail focused area. 

Not only will this rely on you to have exceptionally strong ties with leading retail brands already, but it will also leverage your ability to get the best out of staff who work remotely. Of course, this means you will need to travel regularly, but it also means that you will select, train and empower staff who are able to deliver the highest quality of practical and administrative work. 
Only South African Residents with a minimum of 15 years working experience - at least 5 of which would be in retail property - should apply.

STABLE TRACK RECORDS and proven skill in financial reporting are essential.
