Sales Manager – Plastics Waste Management Company

My client are an international waste management company with a primary focus on plastics. With the recent legislative changes to importing and exporting plastic waste around the world, this has given my client a huge opportunity to grow the business around their specialist product and service.

This is an exciting business development role for their factory and is for the procurement of feedstock. Therefore this person will be approaching plastic manufacturers to secure the supply of their waste/scrap, as this is a service and commodity.

You would be required to go to the customer site, work out what they have, come up with a bespoke storage (waste storage on their site) and collection solution that adds value over and above the current service provider.

In addition, you would offer a price for the material. My client have strict requirements of what is acceptable to come into their factory, so you must know when something is/isn’t an opportunity.

The type of person should not be a hard selling salesman. We are looking for someone who can gain rapport very quickly and win the customer over with their knowledge and proposed solution that saves the time/space/money.
