Job Summary
A rare and exceptional opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s most prestigious real estate development businesses.This business has curated an impressive development portfolio through the delivery of some of capitals most acclaimed large-scale landmark schemes heralded for their design and creation of best-in-class destinations.
They have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join this rapidly expanding, progressive and high performing business, where you will undertake the following duties;
- Check and set-up new supplier accounts when required
- Verify supplier payment details
- Receive, process, code and batch supplier invoices
- Ensure invoices are assigned to the correct workflow
- Coordinate the approval of supplier invoices for payment
- Compile invoices and action weekly payment runs
- Undertake bank and supplier reconciliations
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and efficiently
- Monitor the Accounts Payable inbox and respond to supplier queries
- Assist with Accounts Payable related audit queries
The successful candidate will have acquired practical experience as an Accounts Payable Assistant, preferably within the property and real estate sector, however this is not essential, as the client will welcome applications from AP Assistants with expertise in other markets and industries.
Additionally, you will have a degree in Accounting & Finance or AAT Level 2 qualified or above with a calm and friendly demeanor.
Moreover, you will be numerate with exemplary written and verbal communication skills and have a natural enthusiasm for pursuing a career in the accounting and finance profession.
