Job Summary

We are working with a well established real estate private equity platform based in Singapore to hire a bright, highly motivated and driven Analyst/Associate with an excellent academic background and preferably, previous experience in the real estate sector. The fund manager has real estate products and funds on both ends of the risk-return spectrum and their investment mandate is Pan Asian, agnostic across asset classes. 

What will you do?

This is an all-encompassing role whereby you will be part of the team assisting in investment underwriting, asset management and portfolio management as below:
  • Participate and assist in the underwriting and due diligence of new investments;
  • Prepare Investment Committee memorandums and other related presentations to the senior management;
  • Interact regularly with the local asset managers across the region to monitor the performance of the investment;
  • Develop and maintain financial models that will be used to formulate asset management plans, including strategic positioning and enhancements;
  • Participate in portfolio management activities including monitoring and evaluation of the investment and fund level-performance, including preparation of quarterly/annual management report packages;
  • Collaborate with other departments to respond to investor queries relating to the fund.

What do you need to succeed?
  • 2-5 years’ of relevant work experience across real estate and/or investment industries on buy or sell side;
  • A passion for real estate and demonstrated desire to build a career in the industry;
  • The ability to identify and clearly articulate key real estate and financial drivers and analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills;
  • A curious and analytical mind, detailed oriented but also with the big picture in mind;
  • Numerate, and a strong academic record;
  • The ability to work autonomously on self-motivated projects, but at the same time work in tandem with and add value to a closely-knit team;
  • Excellent data management and Excel cash flow modelling skills;
  • Fluency in English, an additional Asian language is ideal.
