Job Summary

Our client, a well-established industrial and office real estate developer, are looking to hire an Asset Management Analyst to their growing team in Phoenix, Arizona.  As an Asset Management Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our property management processes. Your responsibilities will include reviewing leasing reports, preparing financial documents, coordinating property valuations, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lease Management: Review property rent rolls and leasing reports monthly to ensure accuracy, and update the Argus Enterprise (AE) model accordingly.
  • Reporting: Review, edit, or write narrative summaries for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Budgeting: Prepare and review annual operating budgets and asset management plans within strict deadlines to optimize property performance.
  • Valuation: Prepare quarterly property valuations using AE and submit updated Internal Valuation excel files for evaluation.
  • Appraisal Coordination: Coordinate, review, and reconcile annual property appraisals to assess property value accurately.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with internal departments, on-site property management, accounting staff, and leasing agents to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Managerial Support: Assist asset managers in supervising and training third-party managers as needed to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Data Management: Create, implement, and maintain various tracking criteria related to property operations and performance to inform decision-making processes.
  • Property Inspections: Assist asset managers in conducting property inspections, which may require light travel to various locations.
  • Acquisitions and Dispositions: Handle information flow for acquisitions and dispositions to support strategic decision-making processes.
  • Networking: Establish and maintain a network of contacts in real estate, insurance, legal, and marketing professions to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned and appropriate, which may include original research to support organizational objectives.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in asset management, real estate finance, or related field.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools such as Argus Enterprise (AE) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
