Job Summary

MRICS qualified Asset Manager required by Pan European Real Estate Private Equity Investor based in London to support an expanding real estate Portfolio in the UK and across Europe.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting direct to the Director of Asset Management based in London
  • A key member of the Real Estate Asset Management team.
  • Asset Management of selected assets under management.
  • Primarily office / mixed-use projects but could include other asset classes
  • The firm manages assets in the UK and across Europe including Benelux, Continental Europe and CEE
  • Assisting with typical asset management matters during the acquisition process of new investment opportunities
  • Management of third-party advisors as necessary
  • Advising on technical due diligence issues on acquisition and disposal, interpreting technical reports assessing commercial and investment impacts of matters arising.
  • Managing refurbishment, maintenance, and repairs on managed properties
  • Managing third party consultants and specialist contractor’s appointments.
  • Attending appropriate Asset Management or other team meetings as required
  • Preparation of presentations and other materials for internal and external counterparts as and when required.
  • Preparing memo recommendations and supporting excel cashflow analysis
 
Background
  • Degree qualified
  • MRICS qualified with 5-7 years post qualified experience.
  • Proven Asset Management experience
  • Experience across a range of real estate sectors ideally both in the UK and/or across Europe
  • Sectors could include office, mixed-use, logistics and operating-backed businesses such as student accommodation/PRS
  • Understanding of Commercial Landlord and Tenant including Rent Reviews and Lease Renewals
  • Experience of supporting capex and refurbishment projects
  • Strong at writing reports and investment memorandum
  • Proficiency at excel including preparation of discounted cash flows
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written in English
  • Fluency in another European language is desirable but not necessary
  • High commercial acumen
  • Collaborative and team-oriented
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure to deliver under tight deadlines
