We’re looking for an experienced Asset Manager!Macdonald & Company have been retained by an awesome and rapidly growing independent real estate advisor.
As a company they have nearly 75 years experience with a market leading team AND have already won a large number of retained mandates. These mandates stretch across the UK and encompasses a mix of pre-completion developments, new build schemes and first generation assets. They work on behalf of some of the largest financial institutions and investors in the world. Simply put they are considered the ‘go to’ advisors in the bed sector for operator selection and negotiation of management agreements.
Due to the volume of work they have an immediate requirement to appoint at Associate/ Associate Director level and have a strong preference to appoint a profile who has some operational (BTR/PBSA/Hotels) experience.
The asset manager will be responsible for revenue/rent or operating budget setting for clients, development asset mobilisation prior to practical completion, negotiation of partnership agreements with universities or company let organisations and optimising asset income through reconfiguration and value enhancement initiatives. You will assist clients with the preparation and execution of business plans for portfolio properties and advise clients on asset mobilisation including; lease-up strategies, placemaking, financial budgets and scheme layouts and optimisation along with advising clients on recommended leasing strategies for each property.
Strong preference for someone who is RICS but not essential for the right profile.
