Job Summary
Macdonald & Company are delighted to be working with an International Retailer who are seeking for an Assistant Property Data Manager to join their Property Team. The priority of the role will be to assist the Data Manager in maintaining the Property Lease Database (Manhattan) in line with IFRS16 Accounting Standards and making it fit for purpose to enable rent payments. The role will be based in their West End office 5 days per week from 9-5:30pm.Responsibilities/Key Tasks:
- Maintain the property database to ensure that it is kept up to date and accurate
- Process new store openings/change request forms in a timely manner and monitor slow approvals
- Interpret legal documentation, interrogating proposed amendments and new data to ensure data quality and consistent mapping across regions
- Ensure that the data satisfies the new accounting standards
- Proactively manage upcoming events which will trigger data changes, work with relevant Executive to source the required information
- Upkeep of the changes log to ensure that the Finance team have the most up to data information to keep the database and models in line
- Assist with the onboarding of new data as necessary e.g. service charge information
- Provide business knowledge in relation to data quality issues
- Upkeep of various department schedules
- Implement smooth process of recording landlord details during the full property lifecycle
- Review all Landlord/Agent supplier codes and process changes
- Support in the monthly rent run process
Knowledge/Experience:
- Ability to analyse and interrogate data effectively
- A good understanding of Property systems such as Manhattan
- Strong organisational skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficient at numeracy
