The Role
We are looking to add an Associate to our U.S. business. Working alongside an experienced and tenured team, you will be part of a diverse group of passionate people that while varied in their backgrounds, is unified in its shared mission to expand westward, and conquer the market, through our unique and unparalleled approach and knowledge of the Real Estate industry.
Your Key Responsibilities as an Associate at Macdonald & Company:
Clients
- Proactively identify new opportunities via the use of sales, business development, marketing techniques, and networking to attract business and new vacancies from client companies.
- Develop a strong understanding of client companies
- Successfully place suitable candidates with client companies
- Effectively pitching and presenting for business with new and existing senior clients
- Delivery of retained assignment or special projects activity
- Effectively generate new business streams
- Successful account management
- Consistent local and international cross-selling
- Using social media to advertise vacancies, attracting candidates, and building relationships with potential talent.
- Headhunting – identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be employed.
- To obtain accurate and complete information on candidates when they make contact.
- Briefing candidates on responsibilities, salary, and benefits of the job in question.
- Arranging interviews for candidates as requested by the client.
- To ensure that each candidate is kept properly informed of the progress of his or her application
- To review the requirements of all active applicants at least every two months.
- To ensure that proper records are kept of all resumes dispatched and interviews conducted;
- Using candidate databases to match the right individual to the client’s specification.
- Using the database to accurately record candidate and client information in a timely manner.
- Adhering to company standard operating procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, sales, and negotiation skills.
- A modern 'data-first' approach to business development and database creation.
- A goal-orientated approach to work.
- Confident in liaising with professionals at all levels.
