Job Summary

We are delighted to be partnering with our client who are an entrepreneurial disruptor in the commercial property space who work on behalf of the occupier. With their straight talking, transparent advice they provide a streamlined process for sourcing, negotiating, and managing office moves, moving away from the traditional overly complicated approach which has been historically landlord focused. Since their inception they have expanded rapidly and continue to be ambitious for further growth and success, both of their people and clients.  Winning several awards during this time is testament to their approach, process and creative thinking. The building Surveyor will primarily be involved in and responsible for supporting occupier clients with professional advice when they are acquiring a new lease and strategic advice for exiting an existing lease. There will also be opportunities to be involved with the delivery of Cat B office fit outs of all shapes and sizes. The role requires you to work directly with clients and identify their needs. You will be helping to develop the team whilst also supporting the rest of the business and providing a high-quality service for all their clients.
  • Carrying out Building Surveys and Dilapidation inspections. Preparing the associated reports.
  • Assisting with medium scale projects in a Project Management capacity.
  • Building and cultivating client relationships – identifying when they need additional services.
  • Assisting Directors with face to face meetings and pitches.
  • Building and maintaining the company CRM system.
  • Supporting the wider team with technical queries and advice.
To be  considered for this role you will have the following skills:
  • Hold a Professional qualification such as MRICS or MCIOB.
  • Confidence to guide and advise clients with their workplace strategy requirements from end to end.
  • Commercially minded with attention to detail.
  • Ability to and enjoy being client facing.
  • Excellent communication skills both internally and externally.
  • Desire to support more junior team members.
  • Self motivated, positive attitude with aspirations to achieve.
  • Commercial tenant experience desirable but not essential.
