Job Summary

We are partnering with a leading international casino development group, with an extremely strong brand name, and an exciting new property in South Korea.

Reporting to the President, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Casino Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their dynamic team.

As CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of the integrated resort, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to drive the property's success.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the gaming industry.

This role will be based in South Korea.


Responsibilities:

Financial Management:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize revenue, minimize costs, and improve profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, preparing regular reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk, making sound financial decisions to optimize the casino's financial position.

Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial plans and goals.
  • Conduct financial analysis and evaluate investment opportunities to support the casino's growth and expansion plans.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming regulations, financial reporting standards, and taxation laws.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure their professional growth and development.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
  • Establish performance metrics and conduct regular performance evaluations to drive accountability and achieve departmental goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA qualification is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as a CFO or similar financial leadership role within the gaming or hospitality industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, accounting practices, and regulatory requirements in the casino industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Sound decision-making ability and strong business acumen.
  • Proficient in financial software and systems.
