Job Summary
Build the finance function behind a leading real estate group in Kenya. This CFO role comes with a seat at the executive table and a clear mandate to shape how finance supports the business as it grows and evolves.Working closely with the CEO, COO and Board on financial strategy, funding and investment decisions across development projects and operating companies. A central part of the job is redesigning finance processes and controls to align with the group’s wider business strategy. You will lead the finance side of a group-wide systems change, giving each part of the business reliable information, clear accountability and stronger financial oversight.
Alongside group reporting, treasury and cash flow, you will bring financial discipline to development feasibilities, project funding and purchaser collections. We are looking for someone who can point to a finance function they have personally improved or built. Strong development or comparable project finance experience is essential, as is the judgement to manage multiple entities, intercompany transactions and client funds.
You will build and mentor the finance team, hold a relevant degree and professional accounting qualification, and be equally comfortable in a board discussion and working through the detail with your people.
