Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the estimating and tendering process for building projects in the region.
- Analyze project requirements, specifications, and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive bid proposals.
- Conduct value engineering and cost optimization to enhance project profitability.
- Manage contract negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
- Oversee the preparation and review of contractual agreements and documentation.
- Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and variations to ensure financial control.
- Work closely with project teams to track progress, address commercial issues, and mitigate risks.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement in estimating processes and commercial strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- Proven experience in estimating, contract management, or commercial roles within the building industry.
- Sound knowledge of construction methods, building materials, and industry best practices.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, pricing models, and procurement processes.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
