Job Summary
Macdonald & Company are delighted to be working with a growing and evolving Medical Robotics company who are seeking a Commercial Facilities & Property Manager to join the team. The business are pushing the boundaries and breaking new ground with their immense technological research and developments that has led them to be one of the most innovative medical specialists in the world. Headquartered in Cambridge, you'll have responsibility for 2 sites, including their HQ, and you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of properties and the maintenance, upkeep and operations of their offices, laboratories, factories and other facilities.Day to day you will provide leadership and management of the team, whilst also working closely with the Health & Safety, Sustainability and Legal departments to ensure that all property activities are appropriate, people centred, sustainable and environmentally safe and compliant. You will be involved in managing and setting budgets and forecasts as well as taking charge of the PPM and reactive maintenance schedules.
Ideally you will have had experience working within pharmaceutical, aerospace or automotive sectors, however, this isn't necessarily essential. You'll need knowledge of planning and building regulations and have experience with legionella, fire safety, health & safety, HVAC, maintenance and security systems.
