Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Development Director to lead their data centre development projects across Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data centre and critical facility development, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, design, and construction of data centres.
- Interface with local authorities.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data centre and critical facility development.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in Bahasa is a significant advantage due to coverage of both Malaysia and Indonesia.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required
