Macdonald & Company are looking to speak with Development Surveyors based in London who are looking for their next opportunity.We’ve been instructed by a public sector body who are looking to add to their team based on growth and demands of their portfolio. They have a large and diverse property portfolio most of which is based in central London.
The successful candidate will be tasked with the below responsibilities :-
The appraisal of developments sites, advising on development briefs, planning matters and applications, and marketing of properties including grant of development leases Supporting departments in identifying deliverable property solutions to ensure effective service delivery;
Initiating and developing feasibility studies to support decisions on potential refurbishments, redevelopments, acquisition and disposals including procuring, instructing and managing consultants;
Stakeholder engagement and management;
Securing budgets, monitoring and reporting on spend;
Marketing and disposing of surplus property and negotiation of any associated agreements including development agreements/leases or licences;
Acquiring, by way of lease or freehold purchase operational accommodation for departments;
Undertaking valuations, development appraisals and option appraisals as necessary to support decision making.
