Our client is a well-established property developer listed on the JSE, with a strong portfolio and a focus on using technology and innovation to improve the way it does business. As the company continues to grow and evolve, it is investing in digital transformation and data to make better business decisions, improve efficiency and create better experiences for its customers and partners. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Transformation Lead to play a key role in driving this journey.Reporting to the Head of IT, you will take the lead on the company's digital and data transformation projects. You will help develop and roll out a practical digital strategy, manage projects from the initial business requirements through to implementation, and make sure they deliver real value to the business. You will look at new technologies such as AI, machine learning, data analytics, mobile and other emerging digital tools, identifying ways they can improve efficiency, decision-making and business performance. You will also work closely with internal teams, senior stakeholders and external service providers, while managing project budgets and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a similar field, along with solid experience in digital transformation, systems implementation, business analysis, data and project management. You should be comfortable working with both senior business leaders and technical teams, and able to understand business problems and turn them into practical technology solutions. Strong communication, stakeholder management, presentation and negotiation skills are important, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects, deal with change and get people on board with new ways of working.
