Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:Business Development and Strategy Formulation: The role involves planning and executing strategies to drive business growth and improve market position. This includes identifying new business opportunities, understanding market trends, and developing strategic partnerships. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business development and expansion.
Leadership and Management: As a director, the individual is expected to provide leadership and direction to their team, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. This includes mentoring staff, managing resources, and leading project teams. Lead project teams through all phases of design, from concept development to construction administration. Also, oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality control to ensure successful project delivery.
Stakeholder Management: Effective communication and relationship management with internal and external stakeholders are crucial. This includes negotiating with partners, engaging with clients, and reporting to senior management.
P&L Management: Overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to ensure the financial health of business initiatives. This involves making informed financial decisions to maximize returns and minimize risks.
Market Analysis and Commercial Awareness: Keeping abreast of industry developments and leveraging market insights to guide strategic decisions. This includes analyzing competitive landscapes and adjusting strategies to maintain competitive advantages. Manage client relationships and ensure client satisfaction throughout project lifecycles.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Extensive experience in leadership roles within business development and strategy, preferably in architectural practice
• Proven track record of successful strategy implementation and business growth.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for managing diverse teams and interacting with stakeholders.
• Registered Architect with Authorized Person
• Experience in running both private and public projects.
