Job Summary

Our client is searching for a talented Energy Performance Analyst to join their growing team! In this role, you'll play a vital role in driving energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial building projects across Ireland.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive energy analyses and Building Energy Ratings (BER) assessments for various commercial properties.
  • Utilize IES VE software to create precise energy models, simulating building designs' energy consumption and efficiency.
  • Develop actionable recommendations and strategies to optimize energy performance and promote sustainability.
  • Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate energy considerations seamlessly into the design process from the outset.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation to ensure compliance with Irish and EU energy regulations.
  • Stay current on the latest trends, technologies, and regulations impacting building energy performance.
  • Contribute to the development of internal best practices for energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
What We're Looking For:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science, or a closely related field.
  • Certification as a BER Assessor, authorized by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI).
  • Proficiency in IES VE software with a minimum of 2 years of experience in energy modeling.
  • A solid understanding of building science, HVAC systems, and energy management principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical report-writing skills.
  • A proven track record in project management and effective communication with diverse teams.
  • A commitment to professional development and staying informed of industry advancements.
Bonus Points for:

  • Experience with LEED, BREEAM, or other sustainable building certification programs.
  • Experience with SEAI Grant funding applications.
  • An advanced degree or professional certifications related to energy management or sustainability.
  • Practical experience with renewable energy technologies and their application in commercial buildings.
