This company are a leading medium to large sized construction company in Dublin, is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Estimator to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in the success of our projects by providing accurate and competitive cost estimates.

What You'll Do:
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for a variety of construction projects, from tender enquiry to final submission.
  • Analyse tender documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, drawings, and contracts.
  • Source competitive quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections to understand project complexities and potential cost impacts.
  • Collaborate with the Bid and Construction Operations teams to develop a coordinated and cost-effective approach to site preliminaries.
  • Prepare cost plans and budget exercises to ensure project feasibility.
  • Analyse tenders, present findings to Directors, and participate in post-tender interviews and meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project estimates throughout the construction process, identifying and managing cost variations.
  • Utilise relevant estimating software and stay informed of industry trends and cost fluctuations.
What We're Looking For:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • A Third Level qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction estimating software (a plus).
  • The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
  • A strong understanding of construction principles, methods, and materials.
  • Experience in tender preparation and contract administration (desirable).
  • A valid Irish driving license (desirable).
