Job Summary

We are working with a leading Property Investment company on the appointment of a Facilities Manager. The business invest predominantly in Office assets across London and you will be responsible for the management of multiple assets in London.

The Role:
  • Act as the Landlord's representative on site, at those properties as may be directed by the Head of FM and Procurement
  • Liaise between the tenants and Head Office to ensure good working relationships and free flow of information
  • Support the Head of FM & Procurement in the tendering of contracts for the provision of services to the properties
  • Supervise contractors on site
  • Undertake regular inspections to identify routine repairs and maintenance required to the property and arrange for these to be undertaken
  • Establish programs for preventative maintenance, liaising with contractors, managing maintenance issues and conducting building reports and reviews
  • Ensure all fire safety equipment is operational in accordance with regulations and the risk assessment
  • Attend quarterly tenant meetings
  • Approve invoices for services and monitoring expenditure regularly to ensure the budget is achieved
  • Inspect all vacant areas to ensure they are in appropriate condition for marketing
  • Undertake annual FRI inspections on all non-managed properties

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within Facilities Management
  • Experience of managing multi-site and multi-tenanted office assets is desirable 
  • IOSH Qualified
  • Member of IWFM
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Have a good understanding of the legal arrangement of the Landlord/Tenant relationship 
  • Proven experience dealing with contractual relationships in a commercial environment
