Beyond managing finances and budgets, forecasting and projections, this role will require you to assess all financial risks and relevant projects. You will be required to conduct feasibility studies and tracking reports. Additionally, you will provide strategic and analytically driven insights to management on aspects like store metrics and performance, availability, measurements, capex, and commercial metrics as well.
To be considered for this role you would need to be a registered Chartered Accountant (CA), who has either done a few more years at the same auditing company you did your articles with, or who has gained some corporate experience. We will only consider candidates who are either originally from KZN or who are currently living in Durban, which is where the role will be based.
Expect to be in a position which is highly visible to senior executives, affording you the opportunity to progress your career within a successful, National retailer. Presenting your findings on store performance, feasibility's, and project tracking at the highest-level means that this role would only suit someone with exceptional communication skills who is confident and persuasive, and who is able to use significant data to spot trends & influence decisions. Travel to sites around the country will be required.
