Fit-out Project Manager (Major Office Project) – Dublin

Job Summary

Our client is a leading fit-out contractor in Dublin. They are looking to hire a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead the construction of a prestigious multi-floor office project. In this role, you'll be responsible for the overall success of the project, ensuring it's delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing:

  • Oversee all aspects of the project, from pre-construction planning to final handover.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client, architects, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Facilitate clear communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges.
  • Manage and monitor health and safety protocols throughout the construction process.
  • Ensure compliance with all building regulations and permits.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards.
  • Oversee the coordination and installation of all fit-out elements, including partitions, flooring, ceilings, lighting, and mechanical & electrical systems.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including reports, schedules, and risk assessments.
  • Manage project close-out procedures, including final inspections, commissioning, and handover to the client.
What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the commercial fit-out or construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-million euro office projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Prince2, Agile).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of building regulations, fire safety, and health & safety protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • A strong understanding of fit-out specific processes and materials is a plus.
