As they are expanding operations and enter the dynamic Indonesian market, we are seeking a highly experienced professional to join the team as the Head, Indonesia. This role will be pivotal in establishing their presence, managing assets, building relationships with tenants and local authorities, and leading a team to success. We prioritize individuals with strong asset management expertise in logistics assets, who can bring a senior-level perspective to our operationsin Indonesia.
- Establish and Execute Business Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for the Indonesian market, aligned with the overall objectives of the organization. Identify opportunities for growth, formulate investment strategies, and oversee the execution of business plans.
- Asset Management: Take ownership of managing the firm's logistics assets in Indonesia, ensuring optimal performance and profitability. Develop and implement asset management strategies, including lease negotiations, property maintenance, and tenant satisfaction.
- Tenant and Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with tenants, local authorities, and other key stakeholders. Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and effective manner. Collaborate with local authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and foster positive community relations.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and support. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team. Delegate tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the business. Monitor key performance indicators, analyze operational data, and implement improvements to optimize performance. Identify and mitigate operational risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Market Analysis and Due Diligence: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities in the logistics sector. Perform due diligence on prospective acquisitions, assessing risks, and evaluating financial viability. Provide insightful recommendations to the senior management team regarding investment decisions.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular reports and updates on the performance of assets, business activities, and market trends. Communicate effectively with senior management, providing comprehensive insights, recommendations, and updates on the Indonesian market.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in asset management, preferably within the logistics sector. Strong understanding of logistics asset management principles and practices.
- Significant experience in managing teams and driving operational excellence. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team, both locally and internationally.
- In-depth knowledge of the Indonesian market, real estate regulations, and logistics industry trends.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Ability to evaluate investment opportunities and assess risk.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including tenants and local authorities.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to develop and execute business plans effectively.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and delivering value to stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian languages, both written and verbal.
