I am thrilled to be working on this fantastic opportunity for a proven senior HR generalist and leader to join a dynamic and innovative property consultancy as their Head of HR.

As a member of the Operations Board you will take ownership of developing and delivering the people agenda, and strategic people plan for the business as well delivering key HR initiatives across the HR spectrum, including workforce planning, restructuring, resourcing, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations, employee engagement and performance management. It is a role that will play a pivotal part in the next phase of growth for the company and  as such requires an individual excited and driven who can help them bring this about.

This is a entrepreneurial environment where everyone, at all levels, gets involved  so the ideal candidate will be have demonstrable experience of working in a stand-alone Senior Generalist HR/People role, working at a strategic level but also able to show that they can roll their sleeves up and get stuck in.

Key Skills and qualifications required:

  • Minimum CIPD level 5 or ideally holding a level 7 qualification 
  • Experience of working within in a multi-disciplinary, multi-function team in a professional services organisation.(Real estate/ property not necessary)
  • Previous experience of leading a company through the Investors in People journey highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, practices and UK employment law and experience in resolving complex people-related issues
  • Experience of adopting and creating innovative and desirable reward and retention strategies
  • Energetic, ambitious, and driven.

This role will be based in Huntingdon  in a hybrid working model (3 days in the office)  some travel to other offices will be required on occasion as well
