Job Summary

Our client is an international renowned Architecture and Design Studio. Due to continued expansion and improvement, they are looking for a strong caliber to join their management team

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the design team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Set the creative direction and vision for the organization, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives.
  • Oversee the design process from concept to execution, ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and engineering, to understand project requirements and develop design strategies that meet business goals.
  • Conduct design research and stay updated on industry trends to ensure the organization stays ahead in design innovation and best practices.
  • Review and provide feedback on design deliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards and are aligned with the brand identity.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, setting project timelines, allocating resources, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay updated on emerging design tools, technologies, and software, recommending and implementing improvements to design processes and workflows.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the design team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Architecture related discipline
  • Proven experience as a Design Director or similar leadership role, preferably in a creative agency or design-driven organization.
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in various design disciplines, such as visual design, user experience design, and interaction design.
  • In-depth knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Ability to think strategically and provide creative solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of current design trends and emerging technologies.
