About the Company:
Our client is a UK focused real estate investment and asset management business. As part of the firm’s growth plans, they are seeking to hire an investment professional at Vice President level to support and drive the origination and execUtion of real estate investments across the UK.

About the Role:

Supporting the full A-Z deal cycle with an emphasis on deal sourcing/origination and execution of UK real estate transactions. The firm invest in a range of different sectors and asset classes including offices, logistics, life science and living. The VP will operate across the risk spectrum with a focus on value-add and opportunistic strategies. The VP will contribute to the development of investment strategies. Conducting underwriting and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities. Assist in sourcing, analysing, structuring, negotiating, and closing new deals. Support the facilitation and coordination of due diligence processes with internal and external advisors (i.e. tax, structuring, legal, commercial). Responsible for presenting deals and investment memos to the investment committee. Support transaction execution workstreams, including due diligence, underwriting and legal documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Strong numerical undergraduate degree from a top-tier university (minimum 2.1) and ideally have a master’s in real estate/finance.
  • Minimum 6-9 years’ real estate investment experience at Senior Associate or Vice President Level.
  • Background could include experience working within real estate principal investing, real estate private equity or those from advisory/capital market.
  • Deal experience across the risk curve, ideally with proven value-add and opportunistic strategy experience.
  • Broad real estate sector investment/transaction experience across the UK real estate market.
  • Proven track record of souring/origination and executing transactions.
  • Demonstrate advanced analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
  • Strong business development experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • 5 days a week in office.
  • Competitive base salary + discretionary bonus + LTIP/Carry.
