Lettings Negotiator & Property Manager, Clapham

Job Summary

A family office based in Clapham, SW4 are looking for a hardworking individual for a dual position covering both Lettings and Property Management client side. The role would be client side as the business own their assets, with someone holding 12 months' experience in either the Lettings sector or Property Management with an interest of stepping into Lettings. There is a basic salary + assured commission, with on target earnings to achieve £41,000 p/a.

Basic Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 + commissions/bonus
OTE (On Target Earnings): £41,000
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Manage the lettings process from start to finish, including advertising, property viewings, tenancy agreements and ensuring the property is ready between tenancies.
  • Carry out check-in and check-out inspections and negotiate deposit release.
  • Communicate with tenants and office staff to address any concerns or issues that may arise during a tenancy.
  • Conduct property inspections and ensure that all properties are well-maintained
  • Assisting tenants with trouble-shooting maintenance issues and coordinating with maintenance staff to schedule repairs where necessary.
  • Keep accurate records of all lettings activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service to tenants.
  • Strong administrative skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft 365 and a lettings software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Ideally 18 months experience working in lettings or property management.
  • ARLA level 3 qualification is a plus.
  • Full UK driving license (access to pool car provided for viewings and property visits).
