Job Summary
The Managing Director, Real Estate Restructuring, plays a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership and oversight for all real estate-related restructuring and advisory activities within the Asia Pacific region.This role is a unique leadership opportunity for a Construction / Development professional looking to lead an advisory practice within a well established market leader, who can advise investors, financial institutions, law firms and developers on high-profile, large-scale projects across the region.
This executive position requires a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in construction & real estate advisory, and a deep understanding of real estate development projects.
You will have had extensive experience from within Real Estate & Construction roles, with a in-depth understanding of how large-scale development projects are managed, financed and completed successfully, as you will be tasked at advising on complex projects in distressed situations, to provide suitable turnaround solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for real estate & construction restructuring and advisory services in the Asia Pacific region.
- Provide visionary leadership to the team and ensure alignment with the company's overall objectives.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including property owners, investors, financial institutions, law firms, and developers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the firm's client base.
Restructuring and Advisory Services:
- Develop and implement tailored restructuring strategies for distressed real estate assets and projects, including analysis of projects, debt restructurings, refinancings, and asset disposition plans.
- Provide expert advisory services to clients, offering guidance on decisions, restructurings, and risk mitigation.
Real Estate Development Knowledge:
- Leverage deep knowledge of real estate development projects to assess and enhance the viability and profitability of development initiatives.
- Offer strategic advice on project viability, market positioning, and risk management.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of real estate professionals, including analysts, consultants, and advisors.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture within the department.
Reporting and Communication:
- Provide regular reports to senior management on the department's activities, financial performance, and strategic initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, investors, and regulatory bodies.
