The Multifamily Development Associate will play a pivotal role in the planning, development, and execution of multifamily projects. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and grow within the multifamily sector, actively participating in various stages of the development process, from project inception through completion.
Responsibilities
- Project Management: Assist in the execution of the multifamily development process, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, demand, and competitive positioning for multifamily developments.
- Financial Analysis: Support the preparation of financial models, pro formas, and budgets for new development projects.
- Site Selection and Due Diligence: Participate in site evaluations, zoning analysis, and due diligence processes for potential acquisitions.
- Coordination: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other external consultants throughout the development lifecycle.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including zoning and building codes.
- Presentation Preparation: Assist in preparing presentations and reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Relationship Management: Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including city officials, community organizations, and investors.
Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate development, multifamily projects, or related fields.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Finance, Business, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and feasibility analysis for multifamily developments.
