As part of this continued transformation, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a high-performing team.Based full-time in the office, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a large, site-based workforce by ensuring the seamless administration of payroll and employee records. Acting as a key point of contact for payroll-related queries, you will work closely with Key Account Managers and operational teams to maintain the accuracy and integrity of payroll processes across multiple sites. Your responsibilities will include monitoring overtime, analysing clock-in and clock-out data, maintaining employee records, ensuring statutory and professional certifications, including PSIRA registrations, remain valid and up to date, and assisting with roster administration to ensure workforce schedules align with operational requirements. You will also oversee leave allocations, perform payroll reconciliations, review site rosters for accuracy and compliance, and identify discrepancies before payroll is processed.
The ideal candidate will be based in Durban and hold a Matric qualification, supported by a minimum of two years' experience in a payroll administration role. Previous exposure to the property or facilities management industry, coupled with experience processing payroll for a large, site-based workforce, is essential. This role requires an individual with exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational abilities, and a methodical approach to payroll administration. A relevant tertiary qualification in Payroll, Finance, Accounting, or Human Resources will be considered advantageous.
