Job Summary
Project Management Lead Sought by Innovative Real Estate Services CompanyOur client is a boutique management consulting firm specialising in real estate optimisation, management, and project management. Renowned for their top-tier service and strong reputation, they offer comprehensive solutions in the commercial build sector, from strategy to handover. With a robust project pipeline, they are seeking a Project Management Lead to oversee key projects and lead a team of consultants.
Reporting to the Director of Operations at their Johannesburg office, the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing strategic and tactical oversight on key projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and project objectives.
- Developing and managing project plans, including deadlines, budgets, and key metrics, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Building and maintaining long-term, value-adding relationships with clients, understanding their business, and identifying new project opportunities.
- Establishing and improving PMO methods, including project planning, budgeting, resourcing, and document management.
- Coaching and developing the consulting team on project management disciplines, ensuring adherence to best practices and performance assessment requirements.
- Facilitating regular communication and meetings with clients and stakeholders to enhance project delivery and performance.
To be considered, candidates should have at least 8 years' experience in project management, including 3 years in a leadership role, with proven skills in planning, execution, and change management. A degree in Property, Engineering, or the Built Environment is required. Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills are essential.
