Job Summary
This role requires a highly experienced Project Director with extensive successful experience gained on large scale hospitality projects.We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Director to lead and oversee the successful delivery of a major project through to completion.
As the Project Director, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, ensuring its smooth execution and timely delivery. This role requires a strong leader with exceptional project management skills and a proven track record in hotel development and construction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the project to final completion.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the project stays on track and within budget.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the project meets all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the procurement process, including the selection and negotiation of contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of the project team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout all project phases.
- Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities.
- Evaluate and assess project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices for future projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Director or similar role, ideally within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of hotel development and construction processes, including design, procurement, and project management.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- A minimum of 20 years relevant experience, with at least 10 years leading hospitality projects.
