Job Summary
Our client is a leading investor/developer with a portfolio of properties situated in all major cities in the UK. A rare opportunity has arisen to join a leading accommodation provider with a substantial portfolio of assets under management throughout the UK. We are seeking a design manager to join the in-house team who will enjoy working on multiple refurbishment schemes, based from the company's newly refurbished Grade A office in Central London.The Role
The ideal candidate will oversee refurbishment and redevelopments from inception to completion. • Duties include setting project timelines, design specification, creating and monitoring budgets, brief writing, managing external consultants, tendering and management of contracts. • To be successful in this role you will have a commercial mindset, excellent co-ordination and time management skills as some projects work to tight programmes. • This is a great opportunity for an architect who wants to take a lead on multiple projects or looking to pivot into a client-side role with the relevant transferable skill set.
Desired Skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a design or project management related subject. • Demonstrable track record of delivering residential, student accommodation or living sector projects. • Strong organisational skills • Ability to use CAD, MS Office, Adobe. • Interior design/architecture experience desired.
The role will be based in London with some UK travel as required.
