Macdonald & Company are delighted to be working with a privately-owned investment, development and property management company who, on the back of recent business growth are looking to grow their property management division. The company have ambitious plans for the future and are now looking to onboard a Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of Commercial and Residential assets in London. As a business they want Tenants and Customers to have an exceptional service, be presented with immaculate surroundings and an innovative environment.The Role
- Active management of a portfolio of office assets, including preparing client reports on the property management service and regular formal reporting to clients.
- Actively visiting prime properties across our portfolio, arranging property inspections and liaising directly with tenants
- Collaborating actively with the Investment Management & Asset Management team to ensure a full understanding of the strategic lifecycle of each asset.
- Preparation and administration of annual service charge budgets, reconciliations and expenditure.
- Ensuring tenants’ compliance with lease obligations and Health and Safety legislation.
- Overseeing the provision of common services to properties and tenants.
- Reporting to and working with clients on tenure and physical improvements to properties.
- Liaising with various stakeholders including contractors, leasing agents, solicitors and other consultants.
- Interest in working as part of a growing team and business, as well as assisting with plans to explore the use of Proptech to deliver a proactive and forward-thinking property management service.
- Proven capability as a commercial and residential property management surveyor with demonstrable experience in a similar role.
- Good commercial acumen with an ability to provide sound advice to clients.
- RICS qualified Chartered Surveyor is preferred but not essential
- Experience using the TRAMPS property management system is preferable.
- Excellent written and communication skills with ability to swiftly build gravitas amongst clients.
- Positive attitude, true team player with a ‘can do’ approach.
