Job Summary
Responsibiities- Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Evaluating and negotiating tenders from contractors and subcontractors.
- Conducting cost analysis for construction projects to ensure value for money.
- Managing and controlling project budgets and cash flow.
- Performing risk and value management and cost control.
- Providing advice on contractual claims and disputes.
- Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to achieve project goals.
- Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use.
- Keeping track of changes to the design or construction work and adjusting budgets accordingly.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveyingor related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, experience in consultancy is a plus
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as Excel, AutoCAD, and cost estimation software.
