Job Summary
Our client is a well-known specialist main contractor with an established presence in Hong Kong and Singapore.
The Head of Projects is looking to hire at lest 3-5 years of QS experience on Government projects, organizational, and communication skills to work on prestigious new build projects in Hong Kong.
The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and as part of a team with facade experience. The preferred candidate should possess a commercial quantity surveying background in E&M/MEP or Civils seeking a new challenge.
A driven and motivated personality is key and the willingness to work on site and in the office.
Key Duties:
- Plan, manage and control entire projects.
- Take ownership of entire project lifecycles
- Hold regular team meetings to ensure smooth running of projects within a tight timeframe.
- Determine and manage risks that may affect project progress.
- Manage project teams as well as relationships with various stakeholders.
- Manage project budget.
- Establish procurement strategies.
- Prepare monthly reports for clients.
- Analyse costs and revenues for various projects
Requirements:
- Degree or above in relevant discipline Quantity Surveying- MEP, Engineering OR Civils
- A QS background is essential.
- Strong business acumen
- Fluency in English is essential and preferably Cantonese.
- Based in Hong Kong with HK project experience.
- Contractor side experience is essential.
